This was an assignment to take a step away from "cheese" pictures. To take a photo without the "cheese" aspect brings art to a picture rather than only memory.
I like the image of the flute player because it reveals a lot of culture and self expression. This is a good image that describes the culture and difference in San Francisco. I think all your images are successful.
The flute guy is really cool, keep taking pictures of him! But the background is weird, maybe make the focus more on the guy.
