I continued working on op art. I want to bring patterns and color together. I might try to go into more of a "constructional" series like my top photo.
I like the first image the best. It is solid and you can follow all the lines with your eyes. In the second image, there are really cool designs, but I think it would have been better if you made each little square bigger so that the middle of the picture doesn't end up being so small, we can barely see it. Overall, good job!
these are a good next step in Op exploration. I agree with Deana that the first images has a special quality. The sections feel solid and 3D more than most Op-edited images. I wonder if you can push new images to have this quality? b& w or color are fine, but it might be more cohesive to build a series in b&w for now. look at Escher's artwork: http://www.mcescher.com/
